A note to myself
These are the spaces where I do most of my thinking, making, and growing. They're loosely connected — but together, they're a fair picture of how I work.
Some of my favourite work happens at a podium. I love the preparation, the back-and-forth, and the feeling of shaping an argument in real time. Debate has taught me to listen carefully, think structurally, and speak with intent.
I read widely — fiction, essays, philosophy — and I write to think. Writing is how I slow down, ask better questions, and pay attention to small things. The journal section of this site is where most of that lives.
From small sketches to side projects, I'm drawn to anything that asks me to look closely. The arts remind me that craft matters, and that the long way around is often the more honest one.
I'm fascinated by the way language shapes thought, and the way ideas travel between disciplines. A lot of my growth has come from being curious in rooms where I started off as the quietest person.
